Looks like the U.S.-Canadian spec, judging by the ambers. Nice!
Compare that rear end with the sedan:

Design is a little busy but it could be a very nice ride with that 1.5 turbo and and a 6spd....
not for canada - australian in disguise

I’m a fan. It’s about time we got the Civic hatch back in North America.

Aw heck, why the excitement. It’s 2 tenths inches longer than 2 door and probably weighs more. Granted you can put more stuff in a hatch, but given that it is a premium spec, racing intention and price, can you justify it?
True, it will be the basis for the domestic Si and type R but is it really worth the bother just to look almost the same as a 4 door? If it mattered, the 2 door would be the Si/type R . I say that because last time I checked, there weren’t a lot of 4 door race cars.
True, some fanboy will point out that the last Gen type R was a 4 door, but to save time I will point out that the new car is by my estimates 5 inches longer and an inch wider than the previous generation. Bigger is not faster.

Well the Subaru hatch Impretzel is all over so it should be popular. The new sedan boot is wierd, haven’t seen one open yet. I had a 2010 SI and my mom got that. I’m sticking with older cars now.

It’s weird and impractical looking. Why they bothered with a sedan and didn’t go hatch right from the start is beyond me.

I happen to own a 4 door si, the body lines look better than that years coupe. I won’t be the fanboy that argues weight/size with a keyboard commando, but VTEC kicks in all the same...yo.

“Design is a little busy” describes modern Honda all over.

That rear end is just disgustingly overwrought. Disliked, unsubscribed.

Yeah I wasn’t up on the latest model, I didn’t work the car show last time so I guess I never saw what was coming. It is weird, my only thought is the opening isn’t any smaller and just looks like it. We would have to see the dimensions.
